How do I make an early payment?

Want to make a payment early instead of waiting around for the due date? Here’s how:

Step 1️⃣: Review your upcoming payment

You can check the amount and date of your next payment from the home screen of your Paytient account. It will be located in the top right corner of the page. You can pay this amount, or select an amount of your choosing.

Keep in mind that your next scheduled payment amount includes an installment from each of your active transactions.

To see the payment amount or the total amount remaining for a specific transaction, select the Transactions tab, which is located at the bottom of the screen if you are using the app, or on the left side from a browser.

From here, you can click on active transactions to view your individual payment amounts, payment history, and payoff amount for each.

Step 2️⃣: Make a manual payment

While viewing the details of an active transaction, you'll also see a purple button at the bottom labeled Make Payment.

Once you select this button, you can choose Remaining amount to pay off the transaction completely, or Other amount to enter an amount of your choosing.

You'll also choose the payment method you would like to use to make this payment.

Please be aware that our system will not allow payments less than $1.00.

After choosing your payment amount and payment method, press Preview payment. This allows you to review the details of your payment before asking you to confirm.

Finally, you’ll see the payment amount and can select confirm to authorize the payment, and then you’ll receive a confirmation message, like this:

Step 3️⃣: Review your new payment schedule

Once your payment is confirmed, you can see your updated upcoming payment amount and due date at the top right of your home screen.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Making an early payment will not affect your payment schedule if your account is set up for automatic payments or payroll deductions.
