What do I do if I missed a payment?
What do I do if I missed a payment?

If you forget to make a payment or your payment is declined — here are some steps to catch back up!

Updated over 2 months ago

Step 1️⃣: Review your missed payment

You can check the amount and date of your past due payment from the home screen of your Paytient account. It will be located in the top right corner of the page.

An unexpected missed payment is also a great time to double-check your payment method! Navigate to the Transactions tab and select a transaction to view the payment method that is attached and make sure it's the correct, most up-to-date option!

Step 2️⃣: Submit a manual payment

You’ll need to make a manual, one-time payment to make up for any missed payments. This is separate from your regularly scheduled payments, but detailed instructions are below.

Step 3️⃣: Refresh your Paytient app or web browser

Once you've successfully submitted your manual payment, you’ll need to refresh your app or web browser to see the change applied.

➡️ If using the Paytient app, select the Home tab in the bottom left corner, then swipe down on the screen to refresh.

➡️ If using a web browser, simply click the refresh button to reload the page.

This will update your balance and your missed payment amount will be cleared, so that only your next upcoming payment date and amount will be displayed! 🎉

🤔 Questions about your past due amount?

You can check your statements for a breakdown!

  • To find your statements, navigate to the Settings tab.

    • In the app, select the gear icon from the top right of the home screen.

    • If you’re using a browser, you'll see Settings on the left side menu.

  • Scroll down and select Statements and choose the date range you would like to view to see your statement breakdown for that month!
